From first introductions to ponies to representing Great Britain, riding at Cundall is a shared passion among pupils. In association with Bridge-end Equestrian, it helps pupils build confidence, develop practical skills, and pursue their passion.
Pupils travel to nearby Bridge End Equestrian Centre for weekly sessions led by experienced instructors. Riding is balanced with an understanding of pony care, stable routines and safe handling,
giving pupils a rounded introduction to equestrian life.
Appropriate challenge, whether pupils are complete beginners or established riders.
A friendly introduction to the stable environment, ponies and riding. Pupils begin to develop confidence in riding and learn the foundations of pony care and stable management.
Weekly enrichment sessions grouped by experience and ability. Pupils progress towards appropriate riding goals while learning grooming, tacking up and practical stable care.
Experienced riders are supported to represent Cundall at NSEA events, Hickstead and national competitions as part of the Cundall Equestrian Team.
We are proud of the skill, commitment and sportsmanship shown by pupils who compete for the school and their own clubs across a range of equestrian disciplines.
